How to make your perfume last?
Ingrained Oil products boast a life span of around 7 hours, but there are steps you can take to make your scent last all day!
- Moisturise
Moisturising is important for a long lasting scent as it acts as a base for your perfume to cling to. An unscented moisturiser is best, or one which compliments the notes of your perfume oil.
- Vaseline
Vaseline essentially does the same as a simple moisturiser - if anything, it is even better at trapping the perfume!
By rubbing Vaseline on your pulse points before using your perfume oil, you can extend the life of the fragrance by hours!
- Pulse Points
Pulse points are the points in which your blood is closest to the skin. These are;
- Neck
- Behind the ear
- Wrists
- Back of the knees
- Inner crease of your elbows
Essentially these points emit more heat, this in turn helps to diffuse the perfume molecules and 'release' the scent, enhancing your fragrance's longevity and projection.
- Don’t Dab!
Dabbing your wrists together after applying fragrance to them breaks down the perfume molecules, which leaves the scent smelling weaker.
Once applying your perfume oil, leave it alone to react with your natural body oils and create you a unique scent.
With Ingrained Oil's long lasting perfume oils and these simple steps, you can enjoy your signature scent throughout the whole day, getting the most out of your fragrance. After all, when you smell good, you feel good.
